Who processes the payments?

Your nonprofit connects its own Stripe account. Stripe handles payment credentials and processing; DonorBeam manages the fundraising experience and itemized gift record.

What does the platform fee apply to?

The 0.50% DonorBeam platform fee applies to donation volume processed through DonorBeam. Stripe processing fees are separate and depend on your Stripe agreement.

Can donors help cover fees?

Yes. Organizations can offer fee coverage as an optional donor choice. It is never preselected.

Is migration included?

Guided migration from Donorbox is included with setup. We map donor and gift history, validate the import, reconcile totals, and identify any payment credentials that require donor action.

Can we export our data?

Yes. DonorBeam supports exports for donor, campaign, gift, and accounting workflows so your organization retains a practical path to its data.
